university of Maryland

its was in the morning i was sleepy and tired
and the phone just ring and despite of how sleepy i was i just get energetic and enthusiastic when i pick up the phone because i fell the excitement and the power and passion in my friend voice when he tell me wake up sadeq come on to take a breakfast today we will go to the university of maryland we eat as fast as we could then the AED stuff came in and the told us that its time to go and we cant wait for this moment
when we get to the university we went to there server and see their advance equipment and the funny thing
is that we see this equipment for the first time despite of our knowledge in the It field and our work in it
then we have the privilege to see some of the professor in the business college. and talk to them and for the first time we know whats the research mean we actually see the college help her student start new works and help them with their idea to invent something news and i was wondering could we do the same in iraq and my friend look at me strait in the eyes and told me we will we will.
and smile because i see the hope and the future of iraq when i see these excellent group whom i be with i wish i publish their name but i think its not safe for now so i will publish it when the time is come and iraq be safe for all of us and i hope that day come soon
then we go to the computer science class with david the intelligent designer who work with AED
after that we get back to carlyot hotel in dc
and despite of how tired we are we just sit down and talk about our perception and what should be done in iraq.

the journey

the journey started in Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in the Iraq Business and Investment Conference when secretary hillary clinton annouce the iraq it interns program
the program select 6 iraqi from the IT industry and i am lucky enough to be one of them
i can see the excitement and the enthusiasm in the eyes of all the 6 interns
even in jordan in the hotel all the interns discuss the future of iraq and the infrastructure of the internet and there ideas about how to make it better and frankly hear a real solution to what seems the biggest problem in iraq
these skillful and young people knows so much and they always came up with the easiest and the best solution and i am so proud to be with such a group of excellent people we were 6 interns but they think like an army of intelligent scientist i cant imagine how much they can do if they get the chance in fact i believe that these skillful people despite of how young they are will make their own future and create their own opportunity .
we get to DC at 24 jan 2010
we meet a lot of important people discuss the future of iraq and get to know so many things in so little time the information was overwhelming and i keep getting new ideas every meetings and what astonish me is that even if we have two meetings a day and basically we discuss the same issues the interns always come up with new idea and it like meeting new people every time.
